Oktava MK-13 (tube)
This is the original MK-13 tube microphone. This mic was built in 1971 and is in perfect condition. We also have an Oktava MK-13m, which is smaller in size and was originally designed with solid state electronics, but ours has been modified with a tube. Even though both the MK-13 and MK-13m are tube mics, they actually sound quite different. This mic has a brighter high-end and a more present mid-range. The mic sounds wonderful on acoustic instruments and vocals.
