Crane Song Spider (10 ch A-D and house clock)
The Crane Song Spider is an 8 channel mic preamp and mixer, a 10 channel a/d converter and features analog tape simulation on all 8 channels and the main bus. The Spider also serves as the studio's master word clock. The Spider's A/D converters can be used independently of the preamps by using the insert input of any of the channels, including the master section. Another option is to use the line input of the preamp, which gives you the option of using the high pass filter, FAT switch and phase reversal. I could go on forever about this thing and everything it can do. But to sum it up, it sounds incredible.
