Unfortunately, the Balmorhea/EP Hall/Dust From 1000 Years show for this Saturday, February 27th has been canceled (along with Balmorhea's entire tour). Sorry.
- 01.02.10
It's a new year. It's a new decade. And it's going to be a pretty good one. 2009 was the first full year that the new studio has been open. We had some ups and downs for sure. A super busy winter/spring, a depressing summer and a pretty good fall.
But now it's 2010, which is pretty weird and totally exciting. And 2010 is looking pretty darn good. January is pretty much booked solid, with a few openings:
Fri, January 22
Tues, January 26
Thurs, January 28
During the month of January we will be working on records with Pink Houses, Canary Coal Miners, Trio In Stereo, Zack Norris, Prizzy Prizzy Please, Cosmetics, Glass Halo, Audio Earth, Stak Black Daniels, and Tammar.
February is looking good too, and there are still some dates and blocks available, as of now we have the following dates open:
Mon-Fri, February 1-5
Sun-Mon, February 14-15
Wed-Thurs, February 17-18
Wed-Fri, February 24-26
Sunday, February 28
In February we will be working on records with Universe, Cosmetics, Applecore, Imperial Can and Lucky Pineapple.
March is still completely open, now is a good time to book dates in March, cause it's prime record making time. Also baby making time. April is already booking up, but still has many open dates.
We are still going to be hosting occasional shows at the studio. So far there are a few cool shows lined up for 2010, and as always EVERYBODY IS INVITED!:

In other news, we should be getting the site updated with new photos and a sleeker look within the next couple months.
I hope everyone, including myself, has a really wonderful year.
- 09.22.2009
It's been exactly one year since construction in the new facility has been completed... and the new studio has been open for business as a full time operation. The new space is a pleasure to work in, and it's exciting to be able to work on so many different projects. Besides working with a lot of rock bands, I've also recorded live bluegrass, opera, classical lute and theorbo, a one man band, world music, traditional country and hip hop. Contrary to what some folks think, this is not a rock and roll studio - it's a recording studio! We are fully equipped and provide all recording services including tracking, mixing, mastering, and various media transfers such as vinyl, reel to reel tape and cassette.
This post serves to update everybody on what's happened since we opened, and more importantly what's coming up, including new cheaper rates, a new and improved website, new staff, new recordings posted, new equipment and upcoming sessions and events. Below is an itemized list of topics so you can skip to whatever you want to read about. And as always, if you don't want to get these emails just let me know.
----------------------------------------------------
1.) CHEAPER studio rates, project rates, and availability
2.) New staff: Dave Vettraino, AKA "Super Dave"
3.) Recent article about Russian Recording in NUVO magazine
4.) New recordings from the new studio
5.) New website
6.) Live shows and performances at Russian Recording
7.) Equipment upgrades and additions
----------------------------------------------------
1. NEW CHEAPER RATES!
I'm still learning how to run a business, or rather, how to stay in business. As many of you know, I raised my rates this summer to $450/day. The reason for the rate increase was to help cover the high overhead that comes with running a studio of this size. It was a substantial increase, but at the time I felt that it was a fair price for the level of service and experience we provide. But it soon dawned on me after speaking with some past clients who wanted to, but simply could not afford the new rate, that the reason I started Russian Recording was to provide a higher level of service to artists that normally could not afford a studio of this quality. After some number crunching I came up with a rate plan that is more accessible to our music community, while ensuring that the studio can keep itself afloat. Additionally, I can be flexible with pricing on longer projects or even work out payment plans with artists on a budget. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss your project.
With Mike Bridavsky as engineer:
- $400/day (for 3 days or less)
- $350/day (for 4 days or more)
- $50/hr
- $5 per minute of audio for Mastering
With Dave Vettraino as engineer:
Studio Rental (with your own engineer):
- $250/day (for 3 days or less)
- $200/day (for 4 days or more)
A day is 8-10 hours. If you are interested in blocking out a large amount of time for a project (i.e. 10+ days), we can also work with you to establish a flat "project rate".
There is currently a decent amount of booking availability for the fall and winter. There are several weekdays and weekends available this month, and many dates October through December.
2. Super Dave!
I would like to introduce the first official Russian Recording employee. Dave Vettraino interned at the studio this past winter and pretty much kicked ass. So I hired him. Also he looks just like me, which is really weird and gets pointed out to us by all kinds of random people (including a waitress at El Norteno and even my parents) on a regular basis. No, we are not brothers. I'm a Russian Jew, he's an Italian. ANYWAY. In addition to being in charge of our interns , performing general tasks around the studio, making sure I stay on task and being uncannily positive and punctual, Dave is also an exceptional engineer. That's why I call him Super Dave.
3. NUVO Article
An article about the studio was recently published in an Indianapolis arts and entertainment publication called NUVO. Although it wasn't entirely bad, there was a lot of misquoted information that I wanted to clear up:
- I love what I do, and although I said I probably won't ever make a bunch of money doing it, that's not something that bothers me. I don't do it for money. I do it because I love working with bands and I take pride in helping them make the best recording possible. I went into this knowing that I wasn't going to make a bunch of money. I just want to be able to keep providing excellent service and be able to afford food for my cats and myself.
- I am not thinking about selling the studio. And I'm not looking for a "regular job". I would rather shoot myself in the foot.
- The decision to host shows at the studio was not because I needed supplemental income. In fact, shows at the studio actually end up costing money, but they are something I enjoy. Because of a lack of musical venues in Bloomington at the time, I decided to provide a place to host shows that otherwise may not have happened. And contrary to what the article said, the studio was not solely a live music venue since March. I worked on over 20 records in that time period.
4. New Recordings, and recent projects
Since this time last year, we have worked on more than 70 different projects, including BLK JKS debut full length (just came out this month on Secretly Canadian Records), Magnolia Electric Co. ("It's Made Me Cry, an exclusive Record Day 7"), Salaam (a piece for an installation at the Indianapolis Children's Museum), We Are Hex (mixing their debut full length as well as more new recordings), Racebannon ("Wrap The Body" LP), ROOMS" debut album, Tremendous Fucking's final recording, Prizzy Prizzy Please's follow-up full length, Resting Rooster's full length, a new Abner Trio full length, The Forest Gras Experience, Wackbards, Whoa! Tiger, Lucky Pineapple, Slam Dunk!, Pink Houses, Brett Eugene Ralph's Kentucky Chrome Review, Skeeter McGee, Hard Candy Hearts, Applecore, Laura K. Balke, Tree City Allstars, Sonny Bamboo, Stationary Odyssey, The Delicious, The Bradleys, Filigranas, It Burns, and plenty more.
I've posted nine new recordings from the past few months on the myspace page:
- Wackbards: "Battleship Forever"
- The Delicious: "Combustion"
- We Are Hex: "Gold/Silver"
- Laura K. Balke: "Telephone Lines"
- Gods On Safari: "Post-Modern House Factory Blues"
- Tree City Allstars: "No Illusion"
- Tremendous Fucking: "Daddy"
- Throwing Stars: "Alligators"
- Pink Houses: "Take It Back"
I'm currently working on records with Brett Eugene Ralph's Kentucky Chrome Review (from Louisville, KY), The Sinkholes, Audio Earth and Wackbards. Upcoming sessions include Waxeater, Mike Phillips, Apostle of Solitude, E.P. Hall, and Stak.
5. New Website In Progress
The website has been neglected for the past year to say the least, but that's all changing. We are currently in the process of redesigning the layout and appearance, and updating the site with new photos of the studio, more detailed client info, live twitter and facebook feeds and more visual and audio content. Here is a mock-up of the new website:

Also, there is now a Russian Recording Facebook page - Check it out.
6. Live Shows and Concerts
Beginning last April I made the decision to start hosting shows at the studio. The studio provides an acoustically ideal environment for live music, both amplified and acoustic. We built a stage (which doubles as a drum riser), bought and tuned a PA system and started having shows. Shows at the studio are meant to be special events, and require a lot of work on our end, before, during and after. Every show is multi-track recorded, and every band gets a rough mix at the end of the night. There is a live video and audio feed in the lounge, where people can enjoy watching the show at a moderate volume. As much as I take pleasure in hosting an occasional show, it is not my intention to make the studio a live venue. Although there have been many recent shows, I am going to try to keep shows to one or two every few months.
Every first Wednesday of every month is a guaranteed live show, more specifically, "WFHB's Local Live from Russian Recording". This is a live concert open to the public, showcasing local music and is broadcast live on the air and as a live online stream. The proceeds from the shows are split evenly between the station, the studio and the bands.
Here is a list of upcoming events at Russian Recording:
Wednesday, October 7th: WFHB's Local Live at Russian Recording
Local Jazz Showcase featuring:
Jazz Fables Quintet
and TBA
Saturday, October 10th:
Wovenhand
Wreckmeister Harmonies
We Are Hex
Saturday, October 24th:
LAKE
Karl Blau
7. New Gear and Equipment Upgrades
I left this part for last cause I assume only the audio dorks want to know about this stuff, although I am also going to assume that I'm wrong. Anyhow, we've purchased a few new microphones, and also made some cool upgrades.
Speck M72 Console upgrades:
I am going through and replacing all of the capacitors, switches and pots in the Speck recording console. I'm also going to be adding some modifications, most of which aren't very interesting, but include replacing some of the operational amplifiers with better high-bandwidth chips.
New computer and upgraded software:
I recently built a new workstation and added a 28" widescreen monitor. The new computer has over 8 TB of storage, Intel 2.8 GHz Duo Core Processor and a bunch of other nerdy stuff that even bores me. I also upgraded our recording software to Samplitude 10.3.
New gear:
New microphones :
- (2) vintage Sennheiser MD421s
- (2) Beyer M88s
- (2) Audio Technica ATM450s
- Audio Technica AT4047
Some friends have donated some cool stuff to be used at the studio as well:
- Airline "59 Custom 3P electric guitar
- USA made Fender Telecaster
- Gibson Les Paul Special
- Kramer aluminum neck V-Bass
- Gibson Les Paul Junior tube combo amp
- Fender Princeton Reverb II
- Traynor Mono Bloc Bass head
- Dynaco Echocord Mini tape delay
----------------------------------------------------
OK I think that's about it. As always I want to thank everyone that has helped with the studio, especially all the bands that help make it what it is. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions about availability, your session, or if you want to get together and play some scrabble.

"We Just Call It Roulette: Volume 2" is done and the release show is this saturday...
'We Just Call It Roulette: Volume Two' CD Release Show
live performances from:
MEDUSA
CHILD BITE (detroit)
BEYOND THINGS
Russian Recording
1021 South Walnut Street
Bloomington, IN 47401
9:00 pm
$6 Admission includes a copy of the CD
About the CD:
After over one and a half years of preparation, Russian Recording is finally releasing the second volume of “We Just Call It Roulette”, a compilation of various styles of music recorded at the studio in the past couple years. The compilation was carefully and painstakingly sequenced, arranged and mastered to be much more than just a “demo reel” and more like a cohesive album that can be enjoyed from beginning to end, and serves to promote not only the studio, but also the bands that appear on it and the artists that were involved with the packaging. The CD is still packaged in the same fancy die-cut matchbook design with magnetic snaps, but with completely different artwork and design.
In the same tradition as the first compilation (designed by Jarod Isenbarger of Morrow), the artwork for the new packaging was designed by a member of one of the featured bands, whose song appears first on the compilation and is exclusive to the CD. "We Just Call It Roulette: Volume Two” was designed by Shawn Knight, lead singer and guitarist for the Detroit band Child Bite. In addition to Child Bite’s “Good Arm Getter”, there are two more exclusive songs on the CD: “Noel’s Got a Chord” by Austrian band Valina, and a very special version of The Band’s “King Harvest (Has Surely Come)”, recorded by The Cover Band in memory of our dear friend Evan Farrell.
The CD has 14 tracks from 14 bands, some local and some that are as far away as Austria and Africa, with styles ranging from traditional Zimbabwean music to heavy metal. In order to make such a broad range of music a more cohesive listening experience, many of the tracks (even those that were previously released on other albums) were re-mastered specifically for this compilation.
The complete track listing is as follows:
Child Bite 'Good Arm Getter'
Medusa 'Wicked Father'
Everthus the Deadbeats 'First Time Again'
Sheasby Matiure and the Mbira Queens 'Zvipo Zvamwari'
Lafcadio 'Freewillyneslonmandela'
Defiance, Ohio 'Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop'
Kentucky Nightmare 'Ways of the Gods'
Trio in Stereo 'She’s Not a Robot'
Sump Pumps 'The Mechanical'
Valina 'Noel’s got a Chord'
Beyond Things 'When What Was Wrong Was Wrong'
Prizzy Prizzy Please 'Thundergust of Woodpeckers'
King Harvest (Has Surely Come) 'The Cover Band'
Some of the songs appearing on the compilation can be heard on the Russian Recording website (higher quality) or on the Russian Recording Myspace page (more songs, poor sound quality).
Only 500 copies of the compilation were made, each of them hand silk-screened by and die cut by Ryan Nole at Kangaroo Press, and carefully assembled and numbered at the studio. They are free with admission at the release show, which will be held at Russian Recording on Saturday, March 28th, 2009. The show will feature live performances from three of the bands that appear on the compilation: Child Bite, Medusa, and Beyond Things. After March 28th, copies will also be available for the price of manufacture ($7) directly from the studio, as well as at Landlocked Music and TD’s CDs and LPs in Bloomington, IN.

Since the opening of the new space in September, it's been pretty busy here with a variety of projects. I've recorded classical theorbo and wooden flute, recorded classical violin with piano accompaniment, mixed the new We Are Hex Record, recorded three new tracks for Magnoilia Electric Company, recorded and mixed the new Slam Dunk!, continued work with Throwing Stars and Sonny Bamboo, tracked Toby Oler and the Nashville Knives (bluegrass), finished tracking the new Push-Pull record, started work with The Forest Gras Experience, and mastered records for Gravitas, Slam Dunk!, Jairo, Pony Boy, 2 Mics and a Kit and several others.
The new space has exceeded my expectations. All of the tracking rooms sound great, and each room has it's own unique sound. Everything is working as it should and it's just a real pleasure to make records here.
I'm getting booked up prety far in advance, with almost all weekends booked until the end of February. But there are still plenty of dates open starting next week, including some weekends and plenty of weekdays.
I am really excited to make records in the new place.... so if you want to make one please get in touch.
Im going on tour with Push-Pull starting today, November 1st through Sunday November 9th. In the meantime Mike Dixon is recording Prayer Breakfast at the studio while im gone.
But feel free to give me a call about booking time, or send me a message here or via email....

The new studio is finished and open for record making. After less than three months of hard work and heaps of debt, the new studio is finished... and it's pretty awesome. It could not have been built without all of the people that helped build it... there are too many to thank, but most of all I have to thank Pete Schreiner, who got there every morning at 8:30 am and worked like it had to be done that day... every day. Thanks dude, without you this could not happen. And thanks to the others that were there and busted their asses to get a project that should have taken more than a year to complete done in less than three months. That includes Connor Powell, Taylor Sprehe, Mike Harpring, Mike Notaro, Alex Loew, Simon Moore, Scott Van Buren, Rusty Peterson, Jeremiah Walls, Forest Gras, Mike Anderson, Peter Shear, Cyrus Resur, Mike Hoggatt, and all of the other folks that helped out this summer.
You can see photos of the new place on the home page slide show. I will eventually update the tour pages and also post some audio samples from the space.
There will be a grand opening party on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3rd:
noon-5:00 PM:
open house... just stop by and check it out
7:00 pm-9:30 pm:
Live acoustic performances from Push-Pull, and others TBA (just waiting on confirmation)
10:00 pm- ??????:
Party with DJ LVX spinning music all night AND a special live performance by Chicago's Yeah Big and Kid Static.
This is a free event. It would be great to see people again after working on this thing for so long. It is sure to be a very, very good time.
- 08.31.2008
The new space is so close to being done. All the walls are painted, and the hardwood floors will be done today. All that's left is getting the electrical finished up (most of the outlets have been installed, and the new service is connected, at this point the lights and remainder of the conduit need to be hung), getting all the doors installed, finishing up the control room window, acoustic treatments, trim and audio cabling. The audio cabling is about half way there, Notaro and I will be spending the next three days finishing it all up.
I want to post photos of the progress, but it's so close that i just want to wait and show it when it's done. The studio should be finished up and ready to go on September 11th, which will be the first day of recording with our band Push-Pull.
I have already started booking for september and october. There are plenty of dates available so get in touch if interested.
- 07.07.2008
Finally after 5 years of being located in beautiful Brown County, IN, I've decided to move the studio into Bloomington ..... I have also decided to quit my full time position at the IU School of Music to pursue this record making thing full time.
The new location for the studio is the building formerly known as The Art Hospital (which is moving down the block to a new location), which was formally known as the Secretly Canadian headquarters.
The past 4 months have been spent carefully designing rooms for optimal acoustics, sound isolation, eye-to-eye contact and aesthetics. Dimensionally accurate 3D images have been added to my photos.
Many people have come up to me and asked, "Why are you putting a studio in there? it always sounds so awful when they have shows". The building is actually perfectly suited for an amazing recording studio. In its current state it's just a cavernous space... add to that an underpowered PA, bands that play too loud and small audiences and it ends up a wash of ambience. The new plans will split thespace into 3 new tracking rooms and a control room. The tracking rooms will be vary in size. The live room will have a big lush natural ambience, the live isolation room will have a more focused ambient sound (similiar to the old studio's live room) and the dead isolation room will be acoustically dry.
The new studio will be dividing the huge space into 5 new rooms, all specifically designed to have ideal acoustical dimensions (except for the lounge, which will sound pretty crappy i imagine):
-Live Room (approximately 23' x 28', 17' ceiling)
-Live Isolation Room (approximately 10' x 11' with 13.5' ceiling)
-Dead Isolation Room (9' x 10' with 12' ceiling)
-Control Room (13' x 16' with 11.5' ceiling)
-Lounge (32' x 20' with 8' ceiling)

Construction began on June 25th, and is moving along quite nicely. I will be posting some photos of the progress soon. The plan is to be finished by September 1st.
The studio is currently all booked up for July, and I'm not booking any sessions during the month of August because that's when we will be moving and rewiring.
The new studio will be a total of 1200 sq ft of recording space with optimal acoustics and sound isolation. There will be a huge lounge just for bands to hang out and spend the night in. Additionally I am investing in a whole bunch of new equipment and instruments, including a 16 track analog reel to reel, a baby grand piano and a fully loaded 10 space API Lunch Box (see more below). The studio will be open 7 days a week since I am no longer working full time. Obviously all of things will inevitably lead to a rate increase, mainly so that I can just keep the studio alive and keep making records. Starting September 1st, I am raising my rates by only $50, making one day of recording, with me as the engineer, $300/day. By January of 2010 I plan to raise them to $350/day.
My goal is to provide bands with the most professional, custom tailored recording in the most convenient and comfortable environment with the best possible service and attention to detail for the lowest viable cost. While it sucks to have to raise rates, it's really the only way that I can keep afloat and keep making records. Most studios of this size and caliber cost well over $1000/day with an engineer, and never less than 500. I am doing everything I can to provide an awesome experience to bands that could not otherwise afford it.
So at any rate, I'm not booking August, but September is pretty much open, so let me know if you want to record.
Here is a list of some of the new equipment I'm getting... I decided to leave this for last so only the nerds have to read on:
Otari MX-70 1" 16 track reel to reel deck
Calrec SoundField MKIV microphone and matrix
API 10 space Lunch Box fully loaded with:
-(2) Shadow Hills Mono Gama Preamps
-(2) Purple Audio "The Biz" Preamps
-(2) Purple Audio "Action" Compressors
-(2) API 560 EQs
-(2) Avedis E27 EQs
Klark Teknik D-780 Reverb (w/ Remote)
DBX 160X Compressor
Knabe 5' 3" Grand Piano (brand new!)
Traynor YSR-1 Guitar Head
and there are a few other things that were acquired a while back but not updated on the site.
- 04.23.2008
just a quick update... Still alive. Just finished up the new Good Luck record which is being mastered by Roger Seibel at SAE Mastering as I type. Also just finished up the new STATE record. And the Metal in the Microwave record. Also the Secrets Between Sailors record. Oh and also the new Alexander the Great record. And Vollmar tracked a new record at the studio which we will be mixing together in June. Still in progress are Morrow, Abner Trio, Push-Pull, and Child Bite. Coming in this weekend are Away With Vega, and in the upcoming months I should be wrapping up some of the records mentioned above, and also start working on records with Red Devil Battery, The Otherworld Outfit, Cardiff Giant, Apostles of Solitude, New Granada and Prizzy Prizzy Please.
There's a lot going on right now. I can't really talk about it cause I don't want to jinx myself. But as of now every weekend's booked up until August, with the exception of two weekends which can be booked with one our recommended freelance engineers, and I currently can't book anything after that until I know what's going on.
I'm hoping to get the ball rolling on the new comp too, so there should some more news on that eventually.
Oh yeah, and THIS FRIDAY, April 25: two awesome CD release shows of records that I was fortunate enough to record...
The Delicious EP "Pre-Release", "Postcard to My Sewing Circle"
Art Hospital
8:00 pm
w/Abner Trio, Bussman's Holiday and Amo Joy
Tremendous Fucking CD Release, "More Blood in the Monitors"
Uncle Fester's
10:00 pm
w/Bolth, Sump Pumps and Phantom Cruisers
go to these.
love mike

Yo. Happy New Year. Currently busy working on Morrow's new full length. It's going to be tight. A lot of fun stuff coming through, including finishing up an EP with The Delicious, starting a new Abner Trio Record, recording the first Good Luck full length, and also STATE's first full length. tons of other cool projects coming up like Child Bite, Copper Thieves, Secrets Between Sailors, The Hymns, a full length wilth Alexander the Great, a classical lute recording with Adam Wead, finishing up Metal In the Microwave's full length and having Justin Vollmar come in to record his new record himself. Tight. So it's pretty busy and we're now booking early/mid April. Get in touch asap if you want book some time.
For the most part 2007 was pretty sweet. Since i spent Xmas eve and Xmas preparing my taxes, i was also able to throw some stats together for the studio in 2007. In 2007 we worked on over 40 records and had 204 days booked. That's about all the stats i felt like gathering.
We Just Call It Roulette V.II is in the works. The bands have been chosen. Sean Knight from Child bite will be designing the cover art. I plan on having it come out early next fall, and once again there will be a CD Release show for it. I'm excited that there will be at least 2, maybe even 3 exclusive tracks on this volume.
This year's compilation is being dedicated to Evan Farrell, one of the most talented and magnificent human beings I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All proceeds from the comp sales will go towards some sort of charity or trust fund in Evan's memory.
Evan, I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with you on so many different occasions, although I must say it never felt like work when you were around. I love you and miss you bro, but i know that your probably jamming with jesus and moses right now, and it's probably pretty fucking tight.
You can listen to Evan's beautiful lap steel playing on Thousand Arrows Iris.
- 10.17.2007
It's been a while since we've posted news, cause there's been a lot going on. In the past couple months Kentucky Nightmare, Defiance OH, Ephemeroptera, Everthus the Deadbeats, Lafcadio, The Believers and the Amercian Werewolves all finished up full length records. Also in the studio were Metal In the Microwave, Proof, Sean Perigon, Sonny Bamboo, The Future, Jollie Mullin, Tony Ponella and Whitney Thetford. We're booked up pretty solid for the next 5 months or so, but there are still some weekdays and weekends available.
As of today, October 17th, the following weekends are open:
January 19/20
February 16/17
We are looking forward to sessions with The Delicious, All Nite Skate (with Mike Notaro), Good Luck (with Mike Dixon), Nydus (with Mike Dixon), Tremendous Fucking, Secrets Between Sailors, Morrow, Alexander the Great, STATE, Child Bite, Metal In the Microwave and The Old Flames.

Thanks to the Art Hospital for providing a venue for the show. Thanks to the artists that left their artwork up from the art show the night before. Thanks a million to Ryan Nole for staying up many nights printing these pain in the ass comps that look amazing. Thanks to all the people that helped assemble the pain in the ass comps that look amazing. And last but definitely not not least, thanks to Jarod Isenbarger for designing the comps, making beautiful posters, helping promote the show putting up with me and being an all around kick ass dude.

In the near future Everthus the Deadbeats will be in mixing their new record, Turn Pale will begin work on a new record, Lafcadio will finish their new record, as will the Old Flames. Defiance Ohio is continuing work on their new stuff, and Tremendous Fucking is coming in to record a new one as well.
The website is constantly being updated with new client pages, session photo galleries and audio samples.
New to the site is the COMPS page, which will have information on the annual We Just Call It Roulette compilation CDs that the studio is putting out. The page is currently void of content but will be updated soon. The first volume will be available August 18th, which is the night of the We Just Call It Roulette release show at Bloomington's Art Hospital. Currently on the bill are Racebannon and The Coke Dares, with one band tba.

The site goes live today! I'd like to thank Lane Fujita for doing a remarkable job with the site. It's still pretty new, so there will need to be small tweaks and features added. There is a lot of info that hasn't yet been added to the site, but really soon there will tons of audio to download, photo and session galleries, links to every bands' website, etc. The Gear and Tour pages are pretty much done. Anyhow, the site has been desinged so that I can easilly update and add things to it hassle free, so it's going to be updated on a very regular basis with news, new gear, new clients, audio samples and photos. Feel free to contact me with any site issues or to , uh, book some time.
