Last year, we moved into a brand new custom-built studio in the heart of Bloomington, IN. We're hard at work assembling a new tour page to give a comprehensive view into the new space, you can see some photos of the new location in the slide show of the main page of the site.

The new studio features:

A spacious Control Room
Optimal acoustics & sound isolation
A large band lounge with wide screen TV and kitchenette

Here at Russian Recording we enjoy a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. We are located far from any distractions, surrounded by trees and fresh air. At any time you can go for a walk in the woods, cook something up in the kitchen, shoot some hoops, make up a new outdoor sport, and then take a nap in the loft. When you book a session it's like you are also booking a vacation, except there is work to do.

The studio consists of two tracking rooms (the live room and the dead room/guitar room) and a control room. The A-frame based structure's tall angled ceilings, hardwood wall paneling, and custom wood floors contribute to the pleasant sound of our rooms.
