The Live Room is a spacious, acoustically treated environment with a 17-foot ceiling and non-parallel walls. Designed with carefully placed broadband diffusion and absorption, it delivers a lush, flattering ambiance that remains controlled and even — ideal for drums, vocals, ensembles, and solo instruments.

This room also houses our expansive microphone collection, featuring over 200 vintage and modern tube, condenser, ribbon, and dynamic mics from around the world. You’ll also find a curated selection of Soviet, Japanese, and American analog synthesizers, a 6-foot grand piano, and CEPCo-refurbished Rhodes MK1 and Wurlitzer electric pianos. We keep a variety of guitars, basses, and combo amps in the Live Room for easy access during sessions.

To streamline workflow, the studio is outfitted with Triad-Orbit quick-release stands throughout, allowing for fast, flexible mic placement in any setup. Six Mytek Private Q2 headphone stations paired with Beyerdynamic headphones provide customizable monitoring options for every performer during tracking.
